The amount comes from the counter, never from a declaration. It is an estimate — the invoice is issued once the period closes.

Hard limit
On: traffic stops once the plan is used up. Off: overage is added to the invoice. On by default, because a surprise invoice is churn plus a support ticket.
VAT number
A number cannot be confirmed while a member state's VIES register is down. That is not the same as an invalid number and we do not refuse you for it — until it is confirmed we bill you as a buyer without one.
Masking choices
One choice to make before you start.
With it on, a person named in full once and mentioned by surname later gets the same token both times, so the model can follow who is who.
With it off, only the full mention is masked. The later surname on its own is left alone unless a rule catches it for another reason.
What it costs, measured. On our 1104-fragment
corpus of things that must survive masking, switching it on
masks 13 of them that would otherwise stay. All 13 are one shape:
a surname that is also an ordinary word of the language
(Kowal, Bauer, Bakker)
standing at the start of a sentence, where every word is
capitalised anyway. In English and Czech the figure was zero.
If your documents are full of such surnames, that cost lands on
every page; if they are not, it costs nothing.
